Morristown Municipal Airport

The Skywagon Club operates out of Morristown Municipal Airport (MMU), in New Jersey. Morristown is designated a National Airport for the New York Metropolitan Area. The Airport is 27 stoplight-free miles from New York City and offers everything from corporate flights, ground handling services and U.S. Customs & Border Protection, to flight training and other educational opportunities.

The airport also has an FAA operated air traffic control tower, which operates from 0645L-1045L 365 days a year. There is also an Airport Operations department to assist pilots with wildlife sweeps or any other services they require and an Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) department on site 24HR/365. The wide mix of traffic and FAA control tower, makes Morristown the perfect training environment for anyone thinking about obtaining a pilots license. The ARFF department adds an extra level of safety and piece of mind for pilots operating into and out of the facility.
